Heard this on the ride home from work tonight on the radio. Loved it. A well written radio piece. Considering that it was written and performed in 1957, this thing is amazingly political. Layers of it within the piece all speaking to concerns of the people at the time as they saw feminism really start to take hold.
Dalrock writes of Man Up! articles, divorce, wife strikes, and men/women not being worth marrying. This is probably one of the first pieces to address all of those, even if in a story form.
And it’s amazingly well written. I’m going to be listening to more of these.
